Facebook launches new training program to benefit from AI techniques

Facebook launched a new India Innovation Accelerator program in India, focusing on the use of AI techniques for social welfare. It will supervise and support promising emerging companies that use AI to address gaps within socially influential areas .

The scholarships will enable students to access advanced courses in deep education. The company also launched the “Women in AI Hackathons” initiative, which aims to promote diversity within the ecosystem by stimulating female-led developers and startups that focus on AI. Courses on Artificial Intelligence and Automated Learning (ML) by professors of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and some schools.

“On Facebook, we are also committed to developing the local ecosystem of artificial intelligence, which can be achieved by providing support to startups, the student community, and ensuring diversity within the ecosystem itself,” said Mohan. “Another popular tool on Facebook Under the “AI for Social Good” initiative, a blood donation tool that helps connect blood banks and hospitals with blood donors who have registered on the platform. According to the company, so far, more than 35 million people have joined as donors worldwide.
