Google Stadia is ready for Android TV. Google announced that they are preparing to launch a client dedicated to its streaming gaming platform.

According to the announcement, the date chosen is next June 23, just in time to avoid exceeding the second half of the year, the new Google Stadia app will be downloadable from all (supported) Android TV devices.

The list of compatible devices is not very extensive at the moment, but it includes the most sold and used boxes and sets:

  • Chromecast with Google TV
  • Hisense Android Smart TVs (U7G, U8G, U9G)
  • Nvidia  Shield TV
  • Nvidia  Shield TV Pro
  • Onn FHD Streaming Stick and UHD Streaming Device
  • Philips 8215, 8505 and OLED 935/805 Android TV Series
  • Xiaomi MIBOX3 and MIBOX4

To play with Stadia on Android TV, one would simply have to download the app and connect the controller via Bluetooth.
