HTC unveils its first 5G smartphone

HTC reappears again on the mobile market by presenting two new smartphones: HTC U20 5G and HTC Desire 20 Pro. HTC U20 5G represents the first smartphone with 5G connectivity of the Taiwanese company.

 HTC U20 5G Specifications

In addition to the fifth-generation (5G) connectivity, HTC U20 5G surprises for the generosity of the front panel. With a diagonal of 6.8 inches, it represents the classic “padellone” which more and more users also rely on for viewing multimedia content. Equipped with a 32 MP punch-hole camera in the upper left corner, it is enclosed by rather optimized frames that tend to show too much in the lower portion.

The presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor offers the terminal support for 5G connectivity, while 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage (expandable via micro SD) represent the perfect mix to ensure responsiveness and management of the features offered by Android 10. The 5000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0 with 14W charger is good, as is the quadruple photographic compartment on the back – where there is also the sensor for fingerprints.

Specifications HTC Desire 20 Pro

Coming instead to HTC Desire 20 Pro, it is a term that had already been discovered a lot in the past few weeks. The smartphone design is very similar to that of HTC U20 5G, complete with a punch-hole camera in the upper left corner, the quadruple photographic compartment on the back, a physical sensor for fingerprints, and a bit of unfortunate optimization of the lower frame of the display.

The latter, unlike HTC U20 5G, is a 6.5-inch panel in Full HD + resolution with 19.5: 9 format. The internal processor also changes, in this case, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, as well as the cutting of RAM (6 GB) and storage (128 GB expandable via micro SD). The battery remains from 5000 mAh but with support for Quick Charge 3.0, while the front sensor that goes to 25 MP is a little less performing.
