2020 will be the year in which it will be possible to recharge some smartphones even before having finished drinking a coffee. After the announcement of the rapid charging from 120 W IQOO and new technologies revealed by OPPO including the rapid charging from 125 W, even Realme officially reveals rapid charging UltraDART from 125 W.
33% charge in just 3 minutes
This is certainly not a feature that of Realme, especially considering that the company, together with OPPO, Vivo (owner of the IQOO brand), and OnePlus are part of BBK Electronics, a Chinese conglomerate specialized in hi-tech products. Realme’s 125W UltraDART fast charge technology is able to recharge a 4000 mAh battery at 33% in just 3 minutes, reaching full charge (100%) in 20 minutes.
Realme engineers paid close attention to the development of heat. Moreover, as is known, the development of heat is normal in the presence of an electric field and this type of voltage can generate a lot. Heat is the number one enemy of batteries, and the solution revealed by Realme is able to keep the temperature below 40 °C by adopting double-layer protection.
The company said that the 125W UltraDART technology is currently in mass production, but it is not yet clear when it will be available on the market and on which smartphones.
