Rumor has a new protagonist LG, that should return to the MWC 2020 in Barcelona with a new smartphone with dual display support, precisely theV60 ThinQ.

According to the latest information from the Korea Herald, it seems that the South Korean giant is intent on offering the public an Android smartphone with full 5G support and accompanied by a secondary display that should have much in common with the LG G8X ThinQ.

Compared to the latter, it would seem that LG has however made small changes to the hinge mechanism through which the second display is connected. The current plans would suggest a modification designed to reduce the gap (currently about 2.5 cm) that is established between the two displays when they are fully opened.

LG is likely to have made changes to minimize this screen break in order to make the enjoyment of multimedia content more enjoyable. Currently, the rumors do not give us a way to understand how LG will complete this important change, but we are certainly not the only ones to wonder why the company is still so reluctant not to enter the field of folding smartphones by right, a bit like the Samsung Galaxy Fold, the Huawei Mate X and the Motorola Razr.

At this point we just have to wait a little over a month to find out what LG’s plans are for this particular smartphone.
